Slum Leaders' Training of Trainers

Welcome

Across the globe every year, hundreds of millions move into the global slums - twice dispossessed; seeking out a living as they can; settling where they are not molested; hoping for a better urban future. And among them the Lord has been raising up faithful servants - shepherds, evangelists, diaconal workers caring for physical needs.

But who trains these leaders? The churches remain ill equipped to face the immense issues in which they are born. That is where (1) a global connection for training mediated through (2) local facilitators (3) supplemented by training structure delivered via the web or cell phones becomes a necessity.

To be recognized as a trainer and begin training, each trainer needs to be confirmed by other local leaders and complete this introductory course. The plan is to gather a cluster of existing trainers regularly, working together on the following:
